Our preferred method is electronic transfer via ACH, but we work with you to find the best method.

Email us at support@xmarksthecash.com and we will work with you to validate your information. We need several documents to prove you are a non-profit / charitable organization.

Four of the following nine items must accompany your request to be listed:

  1. Small games of chance license (or other similar license based on your local jurisdiction).
  2. IRS tax exemption number.
  3. EIN number that appears on the IRS list of charitable organizations.
  4. Inquiry sent by an email address from your organizations domain.
  5. IRS determination letter.
  6. Articles of Incorporation.
  7. Certificate of Good Standing (or Certificate of Existence).
  8. Tax Return (Form 990 or 990-N).
  9. 12 months of meeting minutes (certain information may be redacted).

In addition, we require that the organization sign a contract to initiate the fundraiser.

We realize that all charitable organizations may not necessarily be 501(c)(3) tax exempt. For example some emergeny service departments are 107c exempt and would qualify.

Yes, we do keep a small portion of each fundraiser as a service fee. The amounts that the winners and the organizations receive will always be clearly communicated.

This is a decision that the organization will make when they sign their agreement with us. By participating in fundraisers on this site, users should have no expectation of a monetary return. In some cases the organization may choose to initiate another fundraiser or they may hold the winner's portion for a future fundraiser or use it at their discretion. In other cases, all participants may be fully refunded. We conduct fundraisers at the direction of the organization.
