Bayer AG has proposed a $7.25 billion settlement to resolve thousands of lawsuits alleging that Roundup weed killer exposure caused various forms of cancer. The settlement aims to compensate individuals diagnosed with qualifying cancers after regular use of the herbicide.
Individuals exposed to Roundup before February 17, 2026, who used it at least 10 times or for 16+ hours total, and were diagnosed with qualifying cancers (including Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, various leukemias, and lymphomas) at least two years after first exposure and on or after January 1, 2020. Claims for deceased individuals must involve diagnosis and death within the last 10 years.
